Our New Formula D Team

SR Motorcars is proud to announce our new partnership with Ryan Kado Racing for the 2011 Formula D season. We picked up the team after they suffered a catastrophic engine failure the week of Formula D Long Beach. Two weeks and two motors later we are happy to report the car is alive and happy.

The car is a 2005 Nissan 350Z powered by a VK56DE from a 2008 Nissan Titan. Internally stock with the addition of individual throttle bodies, Headers, 4" Straight exhaust and an AEM EMS. Fully caged with most major suspension bits from Powered by Max. Carbon body panels courtesy of Carbon Creations. Enkei wheels and Falken Azeni RT-615's round out the major components.

The car is currently out for shakedowns and testing at Willow Springs Raceway. And it will be out for Formula D round 2 in Atlanta on May 6th-7th.
